Denver, Colorado. Just 9 hours driving away from Salt Lake but I couldn't find a reason to visit Denver until my younger sister becomes a puck head. My impression? Not bad. Definitely love their beer culture. I feel Denver is somewhat city-like likes Dallas but with some addition reaction feature likes Salt Lake. My sister's aim for the trip is definitely the Avalanche-Penguin game. For me, they are the U.S. Mint and the beer tour! We ended up doing all of the above + 4 museums + the capital + the library + the conventional center + a little memory of New Orleans in just 2 days!!! Very satisfying trip with loads of fun! Now, I am thinking when should I go back???

U.S. Mint, the 1 of 2 places in U.S. you can see how's the coins are made! Make sure you make the reservation early & bring nothing other than your I.D. and maybe a credit card or cash. Otherwise, they won't let you in!

Clyfford Still Museum. A surprised found. Love the building. Look at the roof! It creates just enough sun light for the paintings and I like his paintings as well! 

Nothing special or to see within this Money Museum but it's free with a very cool souvenir to take home with you - a bag of shredded money worth $165!!!! 

Found this cool New Orleans style pub people recommended called Bayou Bob's. Everything is good as New Orleands (except the Gumbo). The Hurricane and my favorite beer, the Abita Purple Haze, is only $2.5 during their Happy Hours!!!! 

The D.A.M. It's free on the first Saturday. We totally took advantage of it. Nice place to spend half day with good and fun art works!

My highlight of the trip - the beer tour. The tour guy was already drunk before the tour started!!! Well, I ended up drunk as well after visiting 4 breweries with 2-3 drinks at each stop. I was so ready for the game and I learnt that I don't like IPA!!!

The reason we flew all the way to Denver - to see the Pittsburgh Penguin. The team that my sister obsess about. The most expensive ticket I ever paid for a sport game (not include the hotel and flight) but totally worth it!!!! Row 17 center court. A great win over the Avas at 5-1 with several flight ! Including goalie fight! Awesome!
