IKEA Crayfish Party

Since my trip to New Orleans, I couldn't stop thinking about crawfish. I only got the chance to have it once while I was there but they were so good! The crayfish was just boiled with some creole seasoning, very peppery but made me keep eating! I've been searching all over Salt Lake and couldn't find a place that serve crawfish! So, when I knew that IKEA is having a crayfish party during the IKEA buffet, I brought the tickets immediately! Again, $9.99 all you cat eat.

Of course, the crawfish was not as good as those I had in New Orleans but I am just happy to have it. It was served cold, not much seasoning but I can still taste the yummy crayfish favor. Like the buffet, they also serve some Swedish meatballs, smoke salmon and  shrimp but not as much variety as the buffet last time. The atmosphere is good, they provided some colorful hats and bibs. Everyone is wearing them, really like a party! One thing I wish they serve is the "snaps". According to my friend's Danish boyfriend, snaps is a must for crayfish party. It's a pretty strong alcohol. I am in Utah and having crayfish at IKEA. I think asking for snaps is a bit too much!
